Speaking on the Wrongful Conviction Podcast, Baldwin discusses the impact of interrogation on Misskelley who, like Brendan Dassey was a vulnerable minor with a low IQ. Using the largely discredited Reid Technique, the same method Law Enforcement used against Dassey, the West Memphis cops extracted a “coerced compliant confession” from the youngster, convincing him to implicate Echols and Baldwin in the murder of three young boys, leading to one of the most infamous miscarriages of justice in living memory.
